49 gunned down in NewZealand as killer live-streams slaughter in a Mosque

49 people were killed and 20 seriously injured as of now in a hate-filled terror attack targeting two mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch.

The attack was targeted at a Mosque when Muslims around the area gathered up for their Friday prayers. The killer live-streamed the entire footage right from the moment he gets into the car to set up his ammo to massacring innocent Muslims. Also, just before the shooting, a hate-filled, 87-page manifesto glorifying white supremacy was released named ‘The great replacement’. The manifesto is a proofread, spell-checked pseudo-thesis on anti-immigration and was circulated beforehand to justify the killer’s motives. The shooter, identified as a 28-year-old Australian citizen Brenton Harrison Tarrant, is charged with murder. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern described the horror as a terrorist attack, further stating that it was spread by suspects with “extremist views” that had no place in her country or the wider world. It was one of New Zealand’s “darkest days,” she said in a press conference Friday. She also said she would change the country’s firearm laws in response to the attacks, which is a pressing issue and the need of the hour.

The Livestream video was removed from social media sites and those among us who happened to see it comparing it to PubG and GTA, games that put you in a first person’s perspective of mindlessly killing people and wreaking havoc.

This is a wake-up call to anyone who has a drop of humanity left in themselves. We have psychopaths lurking and roaming around us who treat fellow humans from a different race and religion like animals to be hunted upon. They lead normal lives, pay their bills just like you and I do, yet fail to express any kind of remorse and mercy for people with a different skin tone, different beliefs, and different God.

The NewZealand shooting is a grim example of the horrors that have come up and will plague the world of tomorrow. We have forgotten the fact that we are the same species and the colour of the blood running in your veins and mine are the same. Is this the price we pay to tread on the path to a better future?

Let this be a lesson to all of us. Let this not be just another bout of religion killing. What happened in New Zealand is not a mere terror, ethnic or religious attack, it is cancer on the face of our civilization and in no means humane in any sort. We evolved and built technology and went through rapid strides of development not to witness this day.
