Susan had earlier met with a small accident where she had injured her nose and a black patch under her eyes along with a concussion. But she has overcome her wounds and she was recently snapped on the streets of New York.
But her black eye was remaining which she covered it with oversized sunglass. Her black eye was captured when she removed it while having a conversation with a friend.
She was seen dapper in a red newsboy cap, a black leather jacket matched with vibrant floral blue sweats and orange gloves. She rounded off the look with Nike black shoes.
She had shared her injuries back in November post falling. The actor turned political activist was supposed to canvas for a campaign week before her fall for Bernie Sanders which was called off.
She took to her social media stating: “A little slip = concussion, fractured nose, banged-up knee. So, it looks like I won’t be able to meet the folks in New Hampshire with Senator Sanders tomorrow.”
She also posted the speech written that she was about to give the following week. Adding to this she said: “This is not the time for a “pathway” to or “framework” for incremental change. Emergencies require bold, visionary leadership.”
She also stated that her candidate was “fighting for social, racial and economic justice his entire life, long before running for President, often before it was acceptable. Now it’s time for us to fight for him.”
Sarandon is a strong supporter of Bernie Sanders since 2016.
Her wounds came into light post her daughter Eva Amurri announced her 3rd pregnancy with her ex Kyle Martino.
