Ben Affleck Finally Talks about His Back Tattoo!

Though Ben Affleck lied about his tattoo which he inked post his split from his lady love he has told now why he had done it.

He stated that: “I resented that somebody got a picture of it by spying on me,” The “Way Back” actor was referring to the instantly famous paparazzi shot of his colorful back ink ― a phoenix taking flight ― which the actor obtained during his divorce from Jennifer Garner.”

He also added saying: “It felt invasive. But you’re right. I could have said, ‘That’s none of your business.’ I guess I got a kick out of messing with Extra. ‘Is your tattoo real or not real?’ Of course, it’s real! No, I put a fake tattoo on my back and then hid it,” referencing a March 2016 interview with Extra’s Mario Lopez.”

During the 2016 interview, the academy award winner stated that one of his close aids suggested him to have it and lied stating that it was “fake for a movie.”

Post too many speculations he accepted that it is real and he admitted it in his interview at Ellen’s show in 2019.

To this Ellen asked wittily whether the phoenix was “rising from your ass.” But Ben defended saying that the tattoo “represents something important to me.”
