Watching series especially in online platforms have been a trend these days. Knowing the pulse of the web series lovers, online platforms have been premiering various genres of series capturing the hearts of the fans.
Some of the web series has been unbeatable and now Netflix had released the top 10 favorites and has ensured it will be released every day as per the most viewed every day. Fans can now check daily whether their favorites have topped the top 10 list on their website.
The Online giant stated that: “In addition to the overall top 10 list, you’ll also be able to see the top 10 most popular series and top 10 films when you click on the movies and TV shows tabs.” They continue, “Shows and films that make these lists will also have a special “Top 10” badge, wherever they appear on Netflix. That way you can easily see what’s in the zeitgeist, whether you’re browsing by genre or through your personal list – or when searching for specific shows or films.”
Further, Netflix has tested this initiative in parts of Mexico and Canada in the last 6 months but sadly it has not been viewed in those places. This Tuesday some of the series which topped their list were “Love is Blind at No.1, Narcos: Mexico at No.2, Locke & Key, Gentefied, Better Call Saul, Babies, and The Office,” following it.
Some of the films are: “The Last Thing He Wanted, The Foreigner, A Haunted House, Girl on the Third Floor, and To All The Boys Sequel.” Besides, the platform does not reveal the total streaming summary instead provides what actually inspires the audience.
Moreover, the top 10 varies from one user to others and it depends on how the algorithm means each user.
