A Prominent Departmental Store in Canada Implements a new concept to safeguard elderly people. The store located in Edmonton, Alberta has come up with a concept by arranging early morning time as “Golden Shopping Hour” to shop for aged people. This is an initiative to protect senior citizens of the country from the Corona Virus.
Speaking on the initiative Kris Reyes of ABC News appreciated through his social media that: “This is such a simple yet brilliant move by a grocery store in Edmonton … I am truly hopeful for the creative solutions and innovation that will come out of this crisis, keeping those truly in need, in mind.”

The effort has welcomed all over and people are requesting other prominent stores like Wal-Mart, Target to implement the same to save senior citizens and others from the Pandemic disease.
Besides, Inez Feltchmen the Federalist tweeted that: “This grocery store has an early hour (before people touch everything, spreading #COVID19) for seniors and at-risk to shop when everything was just cleaned and with fewer people around. What a great idea, every grocery store should take this easy step!”

Moreover, this facility is at present not a weekly one like the Belmont Sobey. Though this can be easily initiated there is still a question on why top departmental stores do not ensure to bring it.
Well, we have to hope that these top-notch chains of stores will do it in the coming days.
