Yep! Dwayne is officially a part of the DC film universe. Dwayne John will star in the superhero movie Black Adam which will hit the screens in December 2021. What’s more interesting is Black Adam, which was expected to clash with the much-awaited Avatar 2 in the box office will now release the week after the latter’s release.
If you think what Black Adam has to do in a superhero movie while he was seen always seen as a supervillain in the comics and also was shown as an antagonist in the movie Shazam earlier this year, where Superman and Shazam together fight against Black Adam. But the Hobbs and Shaw actor refers to Black Adam, one of a kind superhero, who’ll always do what’s right for the people and believes in truth and justice.
The DC’s newest superhero shared a post on Instagram which showed off concept art of the villainous Black Adam and his caption (a long note) proclaimed how excited and honored the actor is about playing the role.
And to make your wait more interesting and exciting the wrestler turned actor also shared a Twitter post for his fans to know that ‘Joker’ cinematographer Larry Sher will be shooting the upcoming superhero flick.
After all, these delightful turns of events have left the DC comic fans in excitement, and all we can do is wait for more updates from the production team to know what the upcoming flick would be about.
Will it be a face-off film between Shazam and Black Adam, a straight-up villainous flick, the origin of Black Adam or to expect both a hero and a villain…. Keep guessing and surely will have something interesting to look forward to!
