At a very tender age, Rita Hayworth made her first appearance in movies as a dancer. Her first film was La Fiesta in 1926 produced by Warner Bros and she used her birth name Rita Cansino for her first 10 movies.
Given the title of “greatest love goddess” by life magazine and she was the cover of Columbia Pictures under Harry Cohn. She acted in around 61 movies till her 37 years as an actress, singer, and dancer and then quit in 1972.

The film talks about her role as Judy Macpherson the young wife of dishonored aviator Kilgallen Macpherson which was portrayed by Richard Barthelmess and the popular Cary Grant who played the daredevil pilot Geoff Carter. This movie made her an A-lister in Hollywood.
The Strawberry Blonde (1941)
The movie is based in New York and it is a romantic story that shows a dentist Biff Grimes played by James Cagney remembering the days where he was cheated by his then friend Hugo Barnstead who was an upcoming politician and Virginia Brush played by Hayworth who is an unachievable crush.
Blood and Sand (1941)
The movie sees Hayworth as an evil Spanish who seduces and deceives a married man Juan Gallardo played by Tyrone Power from his high school girlfriend Carmen Espinosa Played by Linda Darnell. Her ultimate aim is to make him go bankrupt and then leave him. Her performance in this film was highly appreciated by fans.
Her movies spoke volumes about her during her acting career and she reigned as one of the best during her period.
