Marvel announces exciting news for its fans. The most awaited series ‘Eternals’ reboot has been teased in a new preview. The marvel studios have a marvelous star cast, including Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, and Kumail Nanjani. It was helmed by comic book writer Kieron Gillen whose previous works are Phonogram and The wicked + The divine. The famous star illustrator Esad Ribic also joins the club.
The Eternals were created by the legendary comic book artist Jack Kirby in the mid-70s. It contains a combination of science fiction and mythology. In short, the Eternals are a race of immortal protectors created by Celestials who came to earth to experiment with early lifeforms.
Back in 2018, Marvel Comics unceremoniously stopped the Eternals. It is said that Marvel took this decision because of their poor relationship between Marvel Studios and the comic book publisher. So this time, Marvel hires the best minds in the industry, Kieron Gillen and Esad Ribic.
The Eternal’s relaunch follows the footsteps of the X-Men relaunch in 2019. The official synopsis of the ‘Eternals’ is “ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years.” Marvel’s eternal film is currently in post-production and is expected to release on November 5, 2021.
