It is time to meet Marvel’s first Asian Superhero. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Marvel Studios dropped a trailer for the newest movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. In this movie, Simu Liu is the title character. He is all set to explore a whole new place of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The 2-minute teaser introduces fans to Shang-Chi, who is skilled in martial arts. The character possesses unbelievable powers and fighting skills. Audiences will be thrilled to find out where he’s been for the last ten years of the MCU. Fans will get all the answers while watching the teaser of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
The first Shang-Chi trailer reveals the titular hero (Simu Liu), his father Wenwu(Tony Leung) who becomes the leader of the Ten Rings, and his best friend Katy ( Awkwafina.) The first Asian superhero film involves mythological battles including giant bears. In the teaser, Shang-chi is living a normal life in the USA, spending time in Karaoke and partying with his friend Katy and taking selfies. You can see a glimpse of his childhood including his rigorous training.
His father says to the teenage Shang-Chi, “You walked in my shadow.” “I trained you so the most dangerous people in the world couldn’t kill you.” It seems like Shang-Chi will become the next leader of the Ten Rings. It is a terrorist organization that audiences witnessed in 2008’s Iron Man.

The movie will hit theatres on September 3 worldwide. Liu tweeted his first poster for the upcoming movie on Twitter in which he uploaded his full superhero costume which can’t be seen in the trailer.
