Wonder Woman Star Gal Gadot, who has recently turned 36, had already expressed that her experience with Joss Whedon “was not the best one” after the shoot.
She recently opened up to an Israeli news channel, N12, that the Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator had threatened her career several times on the sets of Justice League. However, she also said that she had handled the situation as diligently as possible when it happened.
Following her accusation of the director, several other stars have also expressed their experience with Joss Whedon and how abusive he could get on the set. Here are the exact words of these famous stars:
Charisma, who had worked with him on Buffy and Angel, said that “While he found his misconduct amusing, it only served to intensify my performance anxiety, disempower me and alienate me from my peers. The disturbing incidents triggered a chronic physical condition from which I still suffer.”
Amber Benson, who played Tara Maclay, says that “Buffy was a toxic environment, and it starts at the top.”
Ray Fischer, who played Cyborg in Justice League, commented 7 months after Charisma, expressing that “Joss’s on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.”
Following the accusations, The Hollywood Reporter had requested Warner Bros Media to conduct a thorough investigation on the allegations. But both Warner Bros and Joss have declined to provide any comments on the actions of the report.
