The “iCarly” reboot trailer confirms the return of huge fan-favorite characters. Yes, one of the famous Nickelodeon sitcom “iCarly’s” reboot trailer was released by paramount + on June 2, Wednesday. The trailer has left its fans to go nostalgic over their childhood.
The Nickelodeon show premiered in 2007 and went on to become a huge hit throughout its five-year run. The story is about Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and Sam (Jennette McCurdy) are best friends who go viral by mistake after their friend Freddie (Nathan Kress) posts a tape of them at an audition online. Their newfound internet celebrity inspires them to establish a webcast, which becomes a smash sensation.

In the reboot, Carly’s new buddy Harper, played by Laci Mosely, is introduced. Despite the fact that no more story details have been released. Carly states in the trailer, “This is still iCarly, But we’re all grown up now” and The new season of iCarly will telecast 13 episodes.
The show picks up nine years after the gang’s web show ended in 2012 which made the fans go nostalgic over the show. With that in mind, fans may anticipate the programme to cover more mature issues such as love, work, and life, while maintaining the original series’ absurdity and joy.
The reboot, which was announced in December 2020, will be produced by Nickelodeon Studios and Awesomeness and it will be directed by executive producers Jay Kogen, Ali Schouten, and Miranda Cosgrove, who will also serve as executive producers.
