Prince Harry and William’s Reunion at Princess Diana’s Statue Unveiling!

Royal or not, families fight and reconcile all the time. Princess Diana’s sons are no different except they know to keep their differences at bay and put up a delightful show of brotherhood for the viewers.

The tension between Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex is not a new story. Kate Middleton had played the peacemaker role during Prince Phillip’s service, helping the brothers to rekindle their bond or at least keep their appearances in front of the world.

But both the Princesses, Kate Middleton, and Meghan Markle had stayed in their respective homes while the brothers met at Kensington Palace, their childhood home to pay tribute and unveil the statue of their beloved late mother Princess Diana.

The statue of Princess Diana with three children by her side, portraying her love to nurture children was commissioned by the Royals in 2017 and was delayed due to the pandemic.

The Dukes gave a joint speech contradicting the media prediction of two different speeches by saying “Today, on what would have been our Mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength, and character — qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better,” in part. “Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.”

Ken Warfe, lead of the Royal family’s personal protection service said that “It was their idea and it was a joint effort.” Robert Lacey who has been decoding the body language of the siblings commented that Princess Diana’s sons had dealt with their differences constructively and had honored their mother in a way that “warmed everyone’s heart.”
