Apparently, the Harry Potter star is bored out of the whole Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars incident and he’d like not to comment or talk about it. While appearing on the show ‘Good Morning Britain’ today, the actor was asked to comment about the controversial incident that happened at the Oscars which he refrained from commenting on.
He said to the host Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard that “I’m just so already dramatically bored of hearing people’s opinions about it that I just don’t want to be another opinion adding to it”
The actor appeared on the show to promote his new movie “The Lost City” and it was rather a clever move for Radcliffe to evade the question by calling it a boring one instead of siding with either Will Smith or Chris Rock.
However, Will Smith apologized to Chris for his violent behavior at the Oscars and wrote on Instagram that “Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be.” Even though Chris isn’t pressing charges, the Academy did announce that it would hold a formal review of the incident to “explore further action and consequences” for Will.
