Even well-known celebrities, whose lives we believe to be perfect, have run into difficulties that have landed them in jail. The few famous people who served time in prison are listed here.
1. Chris Brown
Charges for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna were raised against the American singer and songwriter. Although he received a 131-day prison term, he only spent three weeks inside. He is currently once again in the press and sued for allegedly raping a lady.
2. Mike Tyson
The heavyweight champion went behind bars on rape charges. He received a six-year prison term. But he only stayed inside bars for three. Tyson had a successful career even after being released from prison.
3. Robert Downey
The iron man was arrested in 1996 for carrying illegal drugs like heroin, cocaine, and a pistol when pulled over for speeding. Robert is, however, well renowned for making a return in both his personal and professional life.
4. Tommy Lee
When he attacked Pamela Anderson on her tummy at the time of expecting their kid, the American pop star received a six-month prison term. Tommy Lee had a successful music career even after serving time in prison, even though the couple divorced as a result of this occurrence.
