Lala Kent, the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ is losing hope in men, but wants a sibling for her first child. As technology evolves day by day, Lala is trying to use it to deliver her second baby.
The 32-year-old actress said, “I’m thinking around the summertime I’ll start trying to get pregnant.”
But…
Kent is not planning to get pregnant by a biological method. Instead, decided to opt for intrauterine insemination (IUI) technology, which places a donor’s sperm into the woman’s uterus directly. Though it is not welcomed by many, one can go for it, as it is legal.
The technology is opposite to in vitro fertilization (IVF), in which an ovum is extracted from a woman’s uterus and fertilized in a laboratory to form an embryo and then placed back into the womb. This technology is often advised for women who can’t conceive in natural ways due to certain health conditions or various factors such as age.
Kent said, “I’m doing a sperm donor, period. I will not even attempt to try and do it a different way. I don’t want another person involved.”
The Give Them Lala Beauty Founder gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Ocean, in March 2021. At that time, she was pregnant with Randall Emmett’s child. Later, after seven months, Kent accused Emmett of cheating on her repeatedly. This made the actress say, “I’m not taking the chance” and opt for IUI.
