Meryl Streep is officially on board as a cast member in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building Season 3. The three-time Oscar winner’s anticipated appearance was confirmed by one of the show’s stars, Selena Gomez.
Gomez took to Instagram and posted a video of her with fellow cast members, including Paul Rudd, and surprise, Meryl Streep appears! Steve Martin, who plays Charles-Haden Savage, posted a picture of the cast, with Streep, sporting an adorable double plait, taking the selfie. Streep’s role and her character are still unknown.
Only Murders in the Building has become a fan-favorite and one of Hulu’s most famous series. The murder-mystery comedy series bagged notable wins at the Emmys since its first season and was critically acclaimed by the entertainment industry.
The cast also welcomed Paul Rudd in Season 2, attracting more audience and fans to watch the show. Meryl Streep’s addition to the series is another huge win for the show, as we all know how famous “the best actress of her generation” is. The 73-year-old star is a three-time Oscar, and Emmy winner and has several Golden Globes under her belt.
Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building has started filming and the show would probably air by Summer 2023.
