Hasbro revealed a new majestic Darth Vader figure that all the diehard Star Wars fans would like to grab on for personal their own collection. This will be possible at this spring’s Star Wars Celebration, being held in London in April.
The figure’s inspiration is from the actual ‘Revenge of the Jedi’ which was the planned title and then changed upon the arrival to be Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. this would have been apt for the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Revenge of Jedi. Revenge of the Jedi was George Lucas’ original title for the third part of the Star Wars Saga.
The movie’s initial poster and early promotions held the ultimate painted poster in red and black by artist Drew Struzan. Then Lucas believed that Jedis should never be indulging in feelings of revenge, and thus changed the name to Return of the Jedi.
The new Vader figure is 6 inches in height, and the design is totally from the poster of the original Revenge of the Jedi poster. The figure can be also seen holding the lightsaber. The packaging is awesome portraying the original poster and fans can pull it out to display it on the stand.
The pack will be selling for $33.99 and will be only available at Celebration from April 7 to April 10 in London. We can expect the toy company would unveil other items in the upcoming weeks and months following the fiery red-tinged Vader figure.
