Karan Soni, the actor known for his character in the Deadpool movies is going to voice role in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Across the Spider-Verse is the sequel to 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which was an Oscar-winning movie.
Soni will be voicing for Pavitr Prabhakaran, one of the versions of Spider-Man as known as Spider-Man India in an alternate universe, which was confirmed by One Take News.
The first movie adaptation was applauded and praised for the unique style of animation that portrayed the traveling between the multiverse.
Soni, the Indian-American actor was the one to play the funny cab driver and friend of Deadpool, Dopinder along with Ryan Reynolds in both the parts of movies of Deadpool and Deadpool 2.
Soni took to Instagram to confirm the news by writing, “Still can’t believe I get to be Spidey.”
In the sequel we will be seeing the Spider-Man, Miles Morales forced to re-unite with Spider-Gwen and a new gang of Spider-People to fight against the villain.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is written by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller along with David Callaham. The movie is directed by Justin K Thompson, Joaquim Dos Santos, and Kemp Powers.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be hitting the screens on June 2.
