Now, we will see who that person was and how Charity gave him her final rose.
Bachelorette Season 20 Highlights
When Charity Lawson entered the last part of her journey in The Bachelorette, she had to decide if she should welcome Aaron back, following his elimination in the hometowns. But in the end, Charity bid her farewell to Aaron. And then, she had to choose between her two final suitors, Joey and Dotun.
The Bachelorette Finale
Both Joey and Dotun met up with Charity’s family. And, each of her family members had their own views about Joey and Dotun. Most of their views about these men were pretty positive. Following their meetings with the family, Charity went on her final date with Joey, and then with Dotun. The final dates began with a champagne toast. The “Proposal Days” followed the final dates.
Charity Lawson Engagement
Even though Charity went on final dates with Joey and Dotun, she had to select only one of them.
Charity told Joey, “I found love that’s deeper with someone else.” Once Joey heard these words, he realized Charity didn’t wish to spend her life forever with him.
When Charity met Dotun, she stated to him, “We shared that incredibly special moment that changed my life truly forever.” Following that, Dotun remarked, “And so, Ms. Charity Lawson, would you do me the honor of turning the fairytale into a reality?”
After dropping down on his knee, Dotun popped the question to Charity. When Dotun asked, “Ms. Charity Lawson, will you marry me?” Charity said “Yes!” and they kissed. Then, Charity offered her final rose to Dotun.
And, that’s how Charity Lawson got engaged in The Bachelorette Season 20!
