Why is Captain Lee not in Season 11?
According to the Insider, Captain Kerry Titherage will replace the role of Captain Lee from Below Deck. This news came a few months after Captain Sandy Yawn stepped out during Below Deck Season 10. Also, Lee talked about her, “Capt Sandy came in and bailed me out in a tough situation and I appreciate her efforts.”
In the December 2022 episode, Lee bid goodbye to his crew before moving to the US to treat his ongoing health issues. At that time, Captain Sandy Yawn filled his position. He explained, “As you guys know I’ve been struggling with my mobility, and it’s been hard and I’ve let you guys down and for that, I apologize. So I’ve made a decision to leave the boat.” However, the successful surgery made it painful for him to walk, and unable to return to season 11.
