The queen of romcom who dazzled the world with her performance in Erin Brockovich, plays a psychologist who works with soldiers diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD, helping them adjust to normal lives after war.
Directed by Sam Esmail, Homecoming stars Julia Roberts, Robert Cannavale a.k.a Bobby Cannavale of Third Watch fame, Stephen James who won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Actor for Jesse Owens, Shea Whigham and Alexander Karpovsky. The web television series has 10 episodes, each with a running time of about 30 minutes. It is based on a fictional podcast by Gimlet Media that aired in 2016.
