President Donald Trump jokingly told Vladimir Putin not to meddle in the 2020 elections.
Only Jokingly though.
In the recent G20 Summit held in Osaka, Japan, Donald Trump was meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin when one of the reporter asked Trump to tell the Russians not to meddle in the upcoming elections.
To which Trump vaguely points towards Putin and murmurs “Don’t meddle in the elections”.
He wags his fingers for a while at Putin and seemed to enjoy the light moment with Putin grinning and having a word or two with his translator.
Ahead of his one-on-one meeting with Vladimir Putin at the G-20 summit in Japan, Pres. Trump was asked whether he’ll “tell Russian not to meddle in the 2020 election.”
“Of course, I will,” said Pres. Trump. https://t.co/HznyciwRty pic.twitter.com/laVeEXV5xZ

Trump said that it was a great honour meeting Putin. Interestingly Trump met Putin for the first time ever since the Mueller Report was released.
