From radio jockey (Mann ki Baath) to yoga freak, the guy has left no stone unturned in portraying his multitude of skills. Now he has teamed up with Discovery Channel and Bear Grylls to venture into the wild seemingly to raise awareness on protecting nature.
“People across 180 countries will get to see the unknown side of PM Narendra Modi as he ventures into Indian wilderness to create awareness about animal conservation & environmental change,” Grylls tweeted, along with a short video of the show that will be aired on Discovery channel on August 12 at 9 pm.

Modi has claimed to have lived amidst nature in forests and mountains long back and couldn’t refuse the offer when Discovery India approached the Prime Minister.
Adding to that, Modi tweeted that he wanted to showcase the lush greenery, the richness, and diversity of India’s mountains and mighty rivers.

The show, Man Vs. Wild is now in its 8th season and has so far featured the likes of celebrities like Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, Ben Stiller, Michael B. Jordan, and former President Barack Obama.
Discovery India hopes to rake in solid profit and skyrocket its TV ratings with India’s most notable personality, Narendra Modi.
