The story revolves around “an ex-banking employee, his actress wife, and their daughter who is possessed and she opts for a house to spend their holiday at alone contemporary house in the Welsh countryside where nothing is quite as it seems.”
The film is produced by Blumhouse Productions who had the weirdest introduction as a production firm.
The film stars Theo (Kevin Bacon) as a father, Susanna (Amanda Seyfried) as the mother and Ella (Avery Essex) as the daughter.
In the beginning, it is shown that Theo is pretty jealous of his wife as she sees her phone and giggles at texts that are sent from her co-stars in the film industry.
Further, Theo goes to see Susanna in the shooting place where she is filming an intimate sex scene. He is heartbroken and he is not permitted by an assistant on the sets and so he has to watch the sex scene from a distance.
Adding to this the assistant mistakes Theo as Susanna’s dad as they have a vast age difference. It becomes difficult for him to watch all this and get upset.
To his way back to the home, Ella cruelly insults Theo with his age and she goes on to throw harsh questions at him.
Moreover, Theo responds to Ella saying that he has no desire to die.
This film is sure to bore you to death as it has an irrelevant storyline.
