Have you heard the news? The Oscars this year will happen on 10th March (2024). The 96th Academy Awards will begin at 7 p.m. for the very first time! And, the pre-show festivities will start at 6.30 p.m. This has been confirmed by the Academy press release.
Who is the Host?
It’s Jimmy Kimmel, of course! This is his fourth time, just like Jack Lemmon and Whoopi Goldberg. The executive producer of the Awards is Molly McNearney.
This will be the very first time (since 2009) that the Oscars will have the former acting award winners presenting all the nominees in every acting category. Let’s now take a look at the other presenters of the Academy Awards!
Who Will Be the Presenters?
On 26th February 2024, the Academy announced the first team of presenters. They include Brendan Fraser, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jessica Lange, Zendaya, Michelle Yeoh, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Al Pacino, and Michelle Pfeiffer. And, the list does not stop here! There are more presenters, and you will get to see them on the 10th of March!
