Adam Sandler threatens to make Grown-Ups 3:Fart Camp if Oscar selection board refuses to award him the Best Actor.
Adam Sandler has been known for his extreme highs and lows in his career. The comedic actor and producer want an Oscar for his role in Uncut Gems, a thriller directed by Joshua and Benjamin Safdie.
He revealed this on The Haward Stern Show this week. The critically acclaimed movie will be released in the US on December 25. The day after he lost Gotham Awards 2019 to Adam Driver, he appeared on the television show to promote Uncut Gems. He hilariously added, “If I don’t get it, I’m going to f***ing come back and do one again that is so bad on purpose just to make you all pay.”
The threat appears to be working as Sandler was named The Best actor by the United States National Board of review.
The major contenders for Best Actor Oscar nominations include Joaquin Phoenix for Joker, Leonardo DiCaprio for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Antonio Banderas for Pain and Glory, Robert De Niro for The Irishman, and Adam Driver for Marriage Story.
