All About Salma Hayek and Her Movies

Salma Hayek Pinault is from Mexico and was brought up in a wealthy family. When she was 12, she started studying at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Louisiana. She was diagnosed with dyslexia, but it did not prevent her from pursuing a career in the movie industry. She made her debut in a television series for which she won the TVyNovelas Best Debut Actress award.

The ever-beautiful and charming Salma continued to play several significant roles in a number of movies. She acted in the 1995 action movie called “Desperado,” which was directed by Robert Rodriguez and became a commercial success. The actress played a prominent role in this movie along with Antonio Banderas. She later played the character of “Frida,” which is actually a biography of the Mexican artist named Frida Kahlo. The movie was released in 2002. 

Salma Hayek went on to act in several other movies, such as “From Dusk Till Dawn” and “Dogma.” She has also starred in “After the Sunset,” in which she played a role with the Irish actor, Pierce Brosnan. “Bandidas” is a Western action comedy movie in which Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz played the lead roles.

Salma is considered one of the most influential actresses in Hollywood and she has proved her mettle as an actress. A couple of more feathers in her cap are the movies, “Grown Ups” and “Puss in Boots.”
