Jennifer Connolly is the actress who played the role of Alicia Nash, the wife of Nobel Prize (for Economics) winner, John Forbes Nash Jr., in the movie called, “A Beautiful Mind.” Connelly went on to win the Academy Award for that role. 

The American actress was born on the 12th of December, 1970 in the Catskill Mountains, New York. She began her modeling career right from the age of 10. Connelly made her film debut in the movie, “Once Upon a Time in America.” In the 1991 movie, “The Rocketeer,” Connelly proved her mettle as an excellent actress. She continued to act in various music videos and several minor movies. She put all her efforts into acting in acclaimed films, such as “House of Sand and Fog” and “Blood Diamond.”

Other notable movies in which Connelly has starred over the course of years include “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” “Hulk,” “Noah,” and “Only the Brave.” 

Connelly can speak several languages, such as French and Italian. She is currently living in New York and enjoys lots of outdoor activities. She loves swimming and gymnastics. She is married to the English actor, Paul Bettany, who has also starred in the movie, “A Beautiful Mind.”
