4-year-old Zayn Ali Salman was whisked right out of nursery school to be recruited with Arsenal. Here is the latest information about ‘Little Messi’.
Zayn Ali Salman, a London boy, became the youngest recruit of Arsenal’s pre-academy after he outperformed several older kids during a local match as a grassroots team member.
His father Ali Salman is an Arsenal fan who is originally from Iraq. Zayn was also contacted by Chelsea, Fulham, and Crystal Palace but given his age, he can only train with clubs and won’t be able to join any. Zayn’s proud parents also added details on how he started walking when he was just 8 or 9 months old and was capable of cycling without stabilizers by age 3.
He continued saying, “Zayn was training with much, much bigger kids. Arsenal then scouted him while he was still in the nursery. That kind of set the tone, and it just went like wildfire — you know how it is with the football world. As soon as there’s a sniff of real talent, everyone’s on him. Obviously, it’s a bit much for me as a father, but at the same time,. I’m loving it and taking it with a pinch of salt. It’s a long, long journey.”
Football scouts are looking out for talent in the Middle East and Northern Africa following the exceptional skills exhibited by Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah from Eqypt, Arsenal’s Mohammed Eleny from Egypt, and Machester City’s Riyad Mahrez from Algeria.
