- Animated characters in the movie are played by the actors themselves without any technical support. Avatar 2 is performed by notable stars like Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All At Once) as Dr. Karina Mogue, Zoe Saldaña (Guardians of the Galaxy, Avatar) as Neytiri, and Sam Worthington (Hacksaw Ridge, Avatar) as Jake Sully.
- The total movie budget was around 350 to 450 million which is higher when compared to Spider-Man: No Way Home with a budget of $241.
- James Cameron used a new camera named SONY Venice in Avatar 2 designed by his own production company, Lightstorm Entertainment & SONY. Also, he used 3D cameras for the entire movie.
- The underwater tanks were designed for the film specifically. Two enormous tanks were arranged at Manhattan Beach Studios. One of these tanks was managed for character training and the other one is used to improve action-packaged scenes of actors with the support of wave machines.
The crew and cast spent many hours underwater for the movie. John Garvin, supervising master diver for Avatar 2, commented “most complicated diving movie ever made.”
