Benidorm show creator reveals his next comedy set
It has been uncovered that Benidorm essayist Derren Litten will swap the Spanish daylight for Scarborough for another arrangement. The maker of the much-adored ITV arrangement, which arrived at an end following 10 seasons not long ago, has joined the BBC to make a comic drama about the Yorkshire town.
Declaring the news at Edinburgh TV Festival, the six-section arrangement will be situated in a karaoke bar in the North Yorkshire ocean side resort which is the central core of the nearby’s life. Talking about the forthcoming show, BBC satire controller Shane Allen stated: ‘It’s a genuine upset to have somebody of Derren’s awesome experience arrive a wide sitcom with a Northern Comedy her to it. It’ll do Scarborough exceptionally pleased. While the air date is safely guarded, Jason Manford and Katherine Kelly are affirmed to star close by Stephanie Cole, which will start recording next summer.
