James Spears has been controlling her daughter’s financial and personal affairs since 2008 as she was suffering from a mental breakdown. Britney has been in conversations for 13 years. The 39-year-old pop star has been urging the judge for months to remove her father from conservatorship and she even said to the court that she wants to press charges against her father for “conservatorship abuse” and wants him in jail. The pop-star says “My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship and my management who played a key role in punishing me — ma’am, they should be in jail,” Spears told the judge. “I’m here to get rid of my dad and charge him with conservatorship abuse,” she also added that “I want him investigated. … This conservatorship has allowed my dad to ruin my life.”

Recently, Mathew Rosengart, Britney’s lawyer said in a statement that “We are pleased that Mr. Spears and his lawyer have today conceded in a filing that he must be removed.” Rosengart added that it’s “a major victory for Britney Spears and another step toward justice.”Britney Spears is more active in social media than before after her father decides to step aside.
