‘Charmed’ Off-screen Tales of Feud!

Though Charmed came to an end in 2006 followers still hear tales of feuds amidst the co-stars till today. Prior to social media rants, the WB drama began in 1998 with three main leads Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, and Shannen Doherty portraying Halliwell (good) wizards who find about their powers.

In the start, everything seemed well in their paradise, and Holly and Shannen went on to be a bridesmaid for Alyssa’s big day with Cinjuna Tate whom she later parted ways post 10 months of marriage.

Further, she was all praise for her pals in a 1999 interview stating: “I feel that we’re incredibly lucky that the three of us found each other. We all have horses so we all have things that are in common. Holly and I keep our horses at the same ranch so we go riding all the time together and we’re very similar and, um, very close, we’re blessed in that way. It’s like a big slumber party every day. We giggle a lot.”

All these soured in the passing years. Well, let’s have a look at where it all began!

Shannen’s role as Prue Halliwell ended in 3^rd season “All Hell Breaks Loose” which eventually became a reality as well post her exit. And the Beverly Hills alum did not hide her disappointment and shared about her exit in a chat in 2001 with ‘Entertainment Tonight’ stating: “I want to work with actors who really, really care and that want to be there every single day. I don’t want to work with people who b-tch about their job and complain about it and say that they hate it or anything else.”

During those days it was also speculated that Shannen and Alyssa’s bond was souring. Prior to Season 4 release, Alyssa spoke about this drama saying: “I think it’s hard when you put…two very different people together. I’m very laid-back and passive…[Shannen’s] got a lot of energy, she’s very headstrong, she wants to get the job done…I think it’s unfortunate that she left, and that she needed to bad-mouth everyone involved and the audience. She sounds really angry. I just hope I didn’t contribute to that anger.”

At the same time Holly spoke replied back to Shannen’s farewell was less drama.
