Do you remember Courteney Cox from “Friends?” Yes? She portrayed the role of Monica Geller in the sitcom we are talking about. She also starred in the “Scream” series as Gale Weathers. The latest buzz about her is that she turned 60 recently (June 2024). But she is neither sad about her aging nor worried about time having changed her. Because she knows that time or aging has not altered her “one bit!”
Cox’s exact words to Britain’s Hello! magazine were, “I’m fine with it (aging). I love my life, and I love that I’m still working after all this time. I’m feeling very grateful… If anything, I’m probably more compassionate now.”
Cox has a daughter named, Coco, with her ex-husband, David Arquette. Cox has stated that being creative, overcoming challenges, and thinking out of the box have kept her young and made her life exciting.
However, just like all of us, Cox too has some regrets. She has said that she used to be a “comparative” person when she was younger and while acting in “Friends.” The talented actress and filmmaker’s words were, “The one thing I wish I hadn’t been is a comparative person. There’s a lot of stuff that can mess with your ego, being on a show in an ensemble like that… I wish I hadn’t ever spent time comparing.”
Though Cox has accomplished all a woman can in Tinseltown, she doesn’t want to call it quits with her career. She loves working despite her age, and moreover, she enjoys doing it! As she ages gracefully and moves ahead in life, let’s wish her well so that she rejoices and succeeds in her life and career as always!
