‘Friends’, one of the most successful situational comedy series ever has fans all around the globe. The best part of the series is that one can relate themselves to any one of those characters very easily. Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler, and Joey are the important characters from the series. Everyone loved the characters so much that they cannot possibly imagine anyone else could justify the role played in the series. However, Kevin Nealon, a comedian who interviewed Courteney Cox (Monica) in an episode of Hiking with Kevin web series, wanted to know hypothetically if the Friends series is made again, which actors could possibly be fit enough to play those characters.
Guess what! Courtney Cox recommends Timothee Chalamet to play as Joey Tribbiani. But she’s no idea who could fit the rest of the characters including hers.
Q: “Who would you recast today on Friends? Is there anybody that stands out in your head?”
A: “Timothée Chalamet can be Joey.”
Q: “Why?
A: “He’s so great.”
Meanwhile, Kevin Reilly, the chief content officer at HBO Max confirmed last week that they’re working on scripts to create ‘Friends Special’ that’ll be played by the original cast David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and Matthew Perry.
