The cruise ship at the port of Yokohama has witnessed people affected with Corona Virus and the latest buzz is that the affected number has gone up to 135. Sources said that the people had been seeking help and there have been discussions that an approx of 3700 had been there.
There are 11 Americans who were having symptoms of respiratory infections making it the largest after China.
Further, Binay Kumar Sarkar an Indian in the ship stated that posting a video: “Very soon we will all be infected,” and he had been requesting the Honorable Prime Minister of India for help.
However, the crew members of the ship are sharing a room of 4 and there are chances for them as well to get affected as they keep delivering food.
Further, Karey Maniscelo another passenger from Utah stated that: “It caused us to be a bit rattled and concerned.”
The infections have been rising criticism on Japan as they have failed to trace a man who had come from Hong Kong who had stayed 5 days in the ship and was seen with the symptoms on February 1st.
Amesh Adalja one of the scholars from John Hopkins University stated that: “This is almost like a shooting gallery for the virus. It doesn’t make sense and is almost cruel.”
Earlier it was decided to empty the ship but it vain and couldn’t protect Japan from the infections
