Deadshot removed from Suicide Squad sequel!

The production of Suicide Squad is in full steam but it seems the movie will now move forward without one of its main characters.

Though it was previously reported that the Idris Elba will be donning the role of Deadshot, news has surfaced that director James Gunn has decided to omit the Deadshot character, with Elba playing a new character in “Suicide Squad.”

The Suicide Squad team felt that replacing Deadshot outright with Elba would be disrespectful to Will Smith who helped to bring the character to life for the first time on screen.

Also, there may be slim chances of Will Smith returning since, after all, it was the actor’s tight scheduling and not the creative differences that led him to sign out of the project.
