Demi Lovato opens up about her breakup with Mac Enrich saying, “My life has kind of flipped upside down. I am no longer engaged,” in her new youtube originals dow series demi Lovato: dancing with the devil. In the final episode of the YouTubes dow series, she shares a candid video of herself sobbing over her breakup.
The pair got engaged in July 2020. The exes have even moved in together as a family amid the COVID pandemic. The 28-year-old pop star also shared about her decision to start smoking weed and drinking.
“I’m really sad that things ended the way that they did,” a stone-faced, glammed-up Lovato says at one point. “The good news is, I haven’t picked up any hard drugs or anything like that. I’m hanging in there. It’s just s***ty.”
She appeared later on the same day and said, ‘The video I made earlier wasn’t an accurate representation of what I’m going through.’So I thought this whole time that I didn’t miss him, I just miss the person that I started quarantining with. And I don’t know how to give my heart to someone after this.’
The pair called off their relationship two months after their engagement. Ehrich accused his ex-fiancee of a ‘calculated PR stunt.’ When Demi was a host for the 2020s PCA she mentioned her short-lived relationship with Ehrich. Max commented on her Instagram post writing “stop talking about me on award shows. Thanks. He also added, “Exploiting our breakup for clout at PCA is not chill.”
The sober singer ends her heartbreak speech by saying, “There’s so much more of me that I have yet to explore, and one of the good things about this experience is that I’ve used this time to look within, I’m also too queer to marry a man in my life right now. I’m not willing to, like, put a label on it right this second. I think I will get there, but there are a lot of things I have to do for myself first. I want to allow myself the ability to live my life in the most authentic form possible, which I just haven’t done because of my past and some things that I’ve needed to work on.”

]Apparently, the engagement and the decision to get married to Max Ehrich was a stupid attempt to prove to the world that she was stable, said Demi Lovato. “I really had myself fooled because it was the safe and expected thing,” said the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer to the public.
The long-kept secret that the singer candidly kept under the radar was revealed to the public ahead of the release of her upcoming documentary, “Dancing with the Devil”. The documentary concentrates on her ordeal with her near-fatal drug overdose in the year 2018 which she barely escaped from.
She even revealed that she suffered three strokes and a heart attack that night and still deals with brain damage and partial blindness.
According to sources, the documentary is also exploring her short-lived engagement with Max Ehrich who just survived for just four months.
The duo announced their engagement with a lavishing photoshoot and matching Instagram posts with the caption “I knew I loved you the moment I met you” and showed off her very sizeable ring.

Demi Lovato just pored out a lavishing performance at Joe Biden’s Presidential inauguration event. She chose the song “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers and delivered a piece of flawless music with the help of a team of other performers.
Earlier this week, Demi Lovato told her fans through an Instagram post that she is all set to perform at Joe Biden’s inauguration. She captioned, “I’m SO honored to announce that I will be joining @joebiden & @kamalaharris for their special event, ‘Celebrating America’ on January 20th at 8:30 pm ET/PT ❤️🤍💙 I was left speechless when I was asked to perform!” Lovato wrote. “Tune in with various tv networks & live streaming services 🇺🇸 @bideninaugural #Inauguration2021.”
Demi Lovato has been a vocal supporter of Joe Biden during his entire presidential campaign. In fact, she even launched a campaign song, “Commander in Chief,” condemning former President Donald Trump’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the California wildfires, Black Lives Matter movement, police brutality, and racial injustice in the U.S.
She was one of the first to share her enthusiasm on social media when Joe Biden & Kamala Harris was announced as the winner of the election in November. She posted a throwback photo of them together, taken in 2012, and wrote to him, “Our 46th president, @joebiden !!!!♥️🇺🇸🗳 I’ve been waiting to post this photo because I knew deep down you would be our next President. Today we celebrate the millions of Americans who overcame barriers to the ballot box, mobilized their communities, and voted in record-breaking numbers. This was OUR election and WE WON TOGETHER. There’s still a lot of work to be done, but today we will celebrate each other.”

Demi has always been open and honest about her road to recovery and explained to her followers that she needed time to heal and focus on her sobriety.
Only after two days of hospitalization, did Demi thank her fans for their love and support in a heartfelt message on her Instagram. She looked healthy and happy when spotted out from rehab on the 3rd of November. The pop singer first entered a treatment program shortly after her rushed visit to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles this July. She also thanked the people at the hospital but has recently deleted the post.
The missing post left the fans wondering about her motive for the omission. Also, some serious concern floats about her readiness on the road to full recovery. Meanwhile, her friends say that Demi doesn’t want to cling to the past. The popping of the post reminds her of a dark place she was in and she is kicking up a fresh start. We say that too while moving on why cling to an ugly reminder of making the headlines for opioid overdose? Just like her fans, we wait to see Demi Lovato focused and healthy moving in a positive direction.
After a critical hospitalization of over a period of 12 days, the 25-year-old singer opens up for the first time on Instagram. She wrote, “I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction and the illness is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet”.
Demi was rushed to the emergency at the Cedar-Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles on July 24. The journey of detox had been a tough one as doctors kept doing their best to keep her stable. There was also news about the Disney girl having withdrawal symptoms that led to severe flu. Fans and celeb friends have been showering her with love and get-well-soon wishes ever since she was taken to the Medical Centre. Now that Demi is on the road to recovery, she took it to Instagram on Sunday (Aug 05) on how thankful she is to everyone who was by her side during the tough times. This is the first time she speaks to the public after the alleged drug overdose. Sources reveal that the American pop star will leave the hospital later this week and head to rehab for further recovery.
She signed off her Insta post with an “I will keep fighting” message which shows Demi Lovato’s positive attitude and her spirit to overcome the difficult times.

Adding to this she said: “I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here’s to our future!!!!”
