You might have heard that the “Die Hard” actor, Bruce Willis, was diagnosed with dementia months back. Demi Moore, the charming actress, also Bruce’s ex-wife, visits him whenever she can. Recently, she has opened up about her ex-husband’s illness. Let’s see what she has stated.
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis share three daughters together. In 2022, the family announced that Willis would be stepping away from acting because he had been diagnosed with a language disorder called “aphasia.” However, the illness then progressed to become frontotemporal dementia. This condition affects a person’s communication, walking, behavior, etc.
In one of the recent episodes of The Drew Barrymore Show, Moore talked about her former husband’s health and how he was doing. When the topic was brought up by Drew Barrymore, Moore said, “Given the givens, he’s in a stable place.” She also explained about advising her daughters on how they should navigate their dad’s condition.
Moore also added that she insists her daughters must not consider their father’s past condition or think about how he should be, but rather, focus on his current situation. She stated that there’s so much joy and lots of sweet moments when the entire family meets. When she is in L.A., she makes it a point to meet Willis, and create happy memories with him and their daughters. The family also thanked his fans for the support and wishes they extend.
