The magnum opus film ‘Mulan’ from the house of Disney has been under criticism for shooting few scenes in Xinjiang Province in China where Beijing is alleged for abusing Uighur Muslims on a large scale.
Besides Disney filming, in the place, they acknowledged the Chinese government agencies that were part of the accused abuses. After the release of Disney+ on Friday few subscribers who saw “special thanks” mentioned at the end of the movie to 8 governments in which one was Xinjiang along with public security from Turpan City where the country said to have a dozen of “re-education camps” that have Uighurs in additional judiciary imprisonments.
Further, Mulan’s acknowledgments are also seen thanking the “publicity department of CPC Xinjiang Uighur Autonomy Region Committee,” the Communists who had produced and took care of state propaganda efforts.
For decades China has been criticized for international scrutiny for treating the Muslims in Xinjiang badly. It was stated that an approx of 1 million Uighur people have been in additional judiciary camps. They have also said they are forced to political training regimen, forced work, and sterilization which are part of their government procedures to suppress the minority Muslims.
