The disease expertise spoke with Telemundo’s Un Nuevo Dia and speaking on the actor he said: “I think he did great,” Dr. Fauci, with a smile on his face, told the correspondent. “I’m a great fan of Brad Pitt and that’s the reason why when people ask me who I would like to play me I mention Brad Pitt. He’s one of my favorite actors. I think he did a great job.”
He also added that the Oscar winner has a lot of class and showed gratitude towards doctors who are working tirelessly amidst the pandemic outbreak. He did a pretty good job of putting everything together.”
Before Pitt came to SNL, Fauci said at his appearance on CNN that he liked Brad portraying his character in the film ‘Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood.’ Speaking on it he stated: “I have no idea [about the chances of someone playing me],” he initially joked, but then confessed he would “of course.”
Further, he also spoke on the rumors of Trump sacking him and said: “Now there is a rumor that the President is going to be firing me…so yeah, I’m getting fired — but until then, I’m going to be there putting out the facts for everyone listening,” Brad said as Dr. Fauci. The writers also took a jab at Trump’s insistence that disinfectant can be used as a cure for the novel coronavirus. “And when I hear things like the virus can be cured by the Tide Pod challenge — I’ll be there to say, ‘please don’t!’”
