Drew Brees Contributes $5 Million to Louisiana For Corona Relief!

Hoda Kotb was teary-eyed on Friday’s “Today” show when they interviewed NFL star Drew Brees as he gave a sum $5 million to Louisiana for the COVID-19 outbreak.

Kotb stated: “A lot of things are contagious, including generosity. Our hope is that because you let us know you made this big, generous donation, I think other people look and say, ‘Hey, maybe I can help out, too.”

She also added that: “Drew, we love ya,” she finished up; pivoting to tell the audience there was “a lot more” before she got emotional.

Further, her co-anchor Savannah Guthrie said: “I’m so sorry, Hon,” and “Take a moment, It’s a lot,” who had been part of the show from last week.

Hoda also shared her sorry to the viewers who were watching the show online.

Seeing this one of the followers wrote: “May sound weird, but Hoda Kotb crying on the @TODAYshow after interviewing Drew Brees was what I needed this morning. She kept apologizing. She didn’t need to. We’re all in this, and it’s hurting us all.”
