Ed Sheeran spent $5.4 million on the new luxury property and his total property value is now estimated at $65 million. The Grammy award winner already owns several properties in the UK, including 27 homes in London!

According to reports, Ed Sheeran spent $4 million through his Maverick Properties Companies and $1.3 million through his Maverick Commercial Properties. It is said that the ‘Shape of You’ singer paid all his properties in cash. Over the years, the singer has spent £ 10 million on properties in London, he owns 27 flats, houses, and mansions. Sources said that he didn’t rely on bank loans instead used his financial capacity.

Ed Sheeran owns property in several fascinating locations including Covent Garden, Battersea, estate in Suffolk comprises five houses. The singer spent a lockdown with his family in his countryside estate. Ed Sheeran faced several objections from the local residents for various changes he made or meant to make to his Suffolk estate. “I just think people just need to mind their own business,” Ed Sheeran replied to the objections. The singer couldn’t understand why people are so concerned about “wildlife” when he actually planted a lot of trees. The ‘Perfect’ hitmaker also added “There are loads of animals. We let the meadow grow up.”

The estate was dubbed as ‘Sheeranville’ but Ed Sheeran denied, “I didn’t name it that. I actually tried to change the name of it to The Shire ’cause I love The Hobbit. But it got denied.” he said.
