Kit Harrington wants to try out new roles and wants to take a break from playing warrior-like roles. Seems like 8 grueling seasons of Game of Thrones has finally got the better of him.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Harrington said: “I don’t want to try and repeat Jon Snow”. He said he wants to move away from the dark and somber genres and portray a role that is light and funny.
The 32-year old actor wants to star in comedic roles and wants to avoid heavy roles. He said, “It’s a very heavy, heavy show, heavy role. So something which is a bit lighter, a bit funnier maybe. Other than that, I don’t really know.”
So I suppose casting directors should be on high alert so that we can see Jon Snow in a rom-com soon.
