Just when we were all set to relive some nostalgic moments with the Friends Reunion Special that was scheduled to air on HBO Max, the production team has announced there’ll be a delay in the release due to the global pandemic.
HBO Max is WarnerMedia’s newest streaming service whose launch apparently got delayed because of the Tinsel Town’s shutdown. After the famous show’s finale in 2004, it is the first time our favorite characters Rachel, Monica, Ross, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe come together for a special edition. The winning team has been signed for a $3 million deal for the same.
In a time when Disney Plus is struggling to ace the race with Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, the launch of a new streaming service could have had its own impact on the company. But, a drawback of HBO Max is that its subscription fee is greater than all of its competitors at $14.99 per month.
