If Spencer was alive he should have crossed 119 years by now. He was one of the aces and talented actors in the 60’s. The 2 times academy award winner has given his fans an array of blockbuster movies until his death in 1967. Most of his movies had Katharine Hepburn the leading actress of the ’50s.

Let’s take a glimpse of his best to worst films. Tracy had the luck of grabbing consecutive Oscars especially for “Captain Courageous 1937” which was portrayed as a Portuguese sailor, Boys Town 1938. Further, he was nominated for movies like San Francisco” (1936), “Father of the Bride” (1950), “Bad Day at Black Rock” (1955), “The Old Man and the Sea” (1958), “Inherit the Wind” (1960), “Judgment at Nuremberg” (1961), and “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” (1967).”

His films with Katharine are “Woman of the Year” (1942), the classic “Adam’s Rib” in the middle and ending with “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” shot prior to his death in 1967.

Speculations were rife that the two had been in a relationship for years which was quite under the wraps. It is also said that Hepburn was with him all throughout his sickness and until his death.
