September 2020
The popular reality show ‘I’m A Celebrity’ has been pushed to another place due to the novel coronavirus.
And when the bosses of the show stated that this year it will be hosted from the Gwrych Castle, in Abergele, North Wales instead of Welsh they sadly missed the opportunity to shoot in the locality.
Yes, you heard it right! Mark Baker the chairperson and the one who owns it stated that the email he received was thought of as spam when it dropped in his inbox.
Speaking to sources, Mark said: ‘I had an email come through… but I ignored it at first. I thought it was spam.’
‘After double-checking, I got in touch with the location guy at ITV and he said it was a reality TV show they wanted to make in the UK, but he couldn’t reveal what it was.’
But this was cleared to the 35 yr old when ITV said that they wanted the site for ‘I’m a Celeb.’
‘When I found out what the show was, I thought, “That’s pretty immense,”‘ he stressed. ‘We hope it will open up North Wales to the whole of Britain and further afield.’
Now the castle has been shut down for the common till New Year as there has construction works on progress to renovate it when people arrive.
July 2020
If you’re a fan of ‘I’m a Celebrity’ then here’s the good news!
This year’s show is all set to air soon!
The host Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are back for the award-winning reality show with the new set of popular faces going for the tarnished Bushtucker Trials.
And it’s not stopping here as the presenters also said there is a ‘one-off doc’ “I’m A Celebrity: A Jungle Story” that will celebrate all the very best moments of the show’s stellar 19-year history’.
Adding to this 2020’s show has been not aired due to the novel coronavirus.
Previously this week, it was said that camp people must self-isolate for two weeks to protect themselves from the virus.
This precautionary is done to ensure that everyone is corona-free prior to stepping into the camp.
Sources said that: ‘They understand that for some people, the thought of maybe having to spend more than a month away from their families might be off-putting.’
‘But in the grand scheme of things, having this two-week plan in place is one simple way of being able to ensure the health of those taking part — and the people working on the show.’
But it is still not clear how the show will be conducted.
Speculations are rife that participants might be flying to Scotland instead of the Australian Gold Coast.
It was also said that the contestant’s families will not be there this time.
Whatever it is fans are eager with their fingers crossed to watch it.
