There’s no denying that Sex and the City was a groundbreaking show when it first aired in the late 1990s. It was one of the first shows to candidly talk about sex and relationships from a female perspective, and it quickly became a cultural phenomenon. The show followed the exploits of four single women living in New York City, and it didn’t shy away from tackling controversial topics like infidelity, STDs, and abortion. Despite its sometimes risque content, Sex and the City was also funny, relatable, and endlessly quotable. And while it may not be as groundbreaking as it once was, it’s still a timeless classic that’s worth watching again and again.
