Despite the success of ‘Ad Astra’, if the actor decides to retire from acting, it’d be devastating news to millions of his fans. However, he never mentioned that he’ll retire from acting but he’s planning on reducing the number of movies he does. In an interview with The New York Times, the actor said that the acting landscape of today is more of a younger man’s game and he feels that he needs to cut down on the number of movies he acts.
“It’ll be fewer and farther in between for me, just because I have other things I want to do now,” Pitt said. “When you feel like you’ve finally got your arms around something, then it’s time to go get your arms around something else.”
It is worth mentioning that the actor has grown fond of other careers like sculpting, landscaping and producing Hollywood movies over recent years. Maybe that’s what he plans in store for the future years to come.
