With over 400,000 being affected by Covid-19 worldwide, today’s news came as a shock to people who are already panicking over the deadly infection. A Chinese man from the country’s Yunnan province died while he was traveling on a bus due to a new pathogen called the Hantavirus. The other passengers on the bus were immediately tested because of the fear of the virus spreading.
A deadly respiratory disease caused by infected rodents, Hantavirus doesn’t spread from person to person. With a mortality rate of 36%, Hantavirus is several times dangerous than the novel Corona. But, unlike Corona, it cannot spread by touch or coming in close proximity to an infected person. However, the world is worried about back-to-back infections from China that is creating fear and anxiety among the people.
